It's nice to see friends come back into town. Anthony a friend who moved to DC for work is back for about 6 months on a project. I saw him last night for the first time since he left and he looked great. He told me that he just got his bike delivered. I love his bike its soo much fun! Turns out he will still be running back between D.C. and here but it's sure nice to have him home. His home now only being 2-3 blocks away. I'm sure his mom appreciates him back home (well not in her house) too. :)
I have been sick for a couple of days. I have the flu. I should be happy that I have had a couple of days to do nothing, but it's pretty boring. I am not used to sitting in bed like this for 2 days. I can do it for 1. I want to get over it. I am over it.
I just got DVR installed yesterday. When I played Dodgeball on Wednesday I was on the verge of missing Project Runway even though I had to stay up till one in the morning watching. Now I won't miss American Idol when softball season starts.
I tried dodgeball for the first time Wednesday night and it was actually fun. One of the girls I work with plays with a group of her friends. Co-ed. Out in Huntington Beach. Aaron actually played pretty well. I didn't do so well. I played for about 45 minutes and then I went black. I got hit in the face with a dodgeball. It wasn't that I passed out just I got hit so hard that my vision went and I halfway fell to the floor. I am a glutton for pain so I will be playing again next week. Softball starts in a month!
So I have this usual nice place I go to and I actually went for something new. I got acrylics done. They actually turned out pretty well. The 2 girls who were doing my nails started talking about how furry my arms are. I know they are furry. Since I was a kid. Anyway, they talked me into waxing my arms. OH MY GOD! That was one of the most painful things I have ever had to endure. Mind you I have had piercings and full brazillian waxes. On top of the pain to add insult to injury my skin freaked out. My skin did who knows what and had bumps and itched. Final Verdict: Never doing it again.
